Formally part of the barn which stored grain now squirrels are often seen running along the thatched roof.
This thatched two storey converted stone barn has a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, beamed living area with a comfortable 5 seater corner sofa (old sofa shown in pictures & video) and dining area. There is a bedroom downstairs with a double bed (room for a travel cot), ample storage and an ensuite toilet. Upstairs there is a spacious bathroom with bath and shower over, a bedroom with large bunk beds and a single bedroom.
A bath towel is provided for each guest but please bring your own beach/pool towels. Beds are made up just before your arrival with fresh linen. There is also a welcome pack to start your stay with locally made treat and some Dorset tea, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets (where applicable), soap, tea towel, dishcloth, 2 toilet rolls, a free basket of logs, kindling and fire lighters (where appropriate) will be provided. Squirrel’s Drey is heated by electricity which is metered. To encourage you to ‘Save the Planet’ we share the cost with you 50/50. This should amount to £2 or £3 per day in the colder months. There is no charge during the warm peak season from July 1st – Aug 31st. All monies go to Friends of the Earth charity (Reg. No. 1012357).
