Was formally where the milk would have been stored in milk churns.
It has been converted to provide a bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with large bunk beds. The stone barn has high vaulted beamed ceilings in the living area with a cosy wood burning stove. The country kitchen area is fully equipped with the addition of a dishwasher and a dining area. The bathroom has a bath with shower over.
A bath towel is provided for each guest but please bring your own beach/pool towels. Beds are made up just before your arrival with fresh linen. There is also a welcome pack to start your stay with locally made treat and some Dorset tea, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets (where applicable), soap, tea towel, dishcloth, 1 toilet roll, a free basket of logs, kindling and fire lighters (where appropriate) will be provided. A travel cot, highchair, blackout blind and baby bath can be booked in advance but please bring your own cot bedding. Free High Speed Wi-Fi. Each cottage has a hairdryer.
Dairy Barn is heated by a log burner and electricity which is metered. To encourage you to ‘Save the Planet’ we share the cost with you 50/50. This should amount to £2 or £3 per day in the colder months. 25% goes to the NEA charity (www.nea.org.uk) . There is no charge during the warm peak season from July 1st – Aug 31st.
Is Friday in summer season (July & August) and flexible at other times. Cottages are available from 4pm.
Outside of Peak season you can start your holiday on any day for a minimum of 2 nights.
