In an idyllic location, surrounded by curious alpacas & sheep, this was a great escape from the real world. We swam in the pool, lit a fire & watched the stars appear at night. The booking system works well for the pool & it’s a real treat to have it all to yourself. We loved the local pub the Five Bells too, friendly locals & funny banter

We had a great stay. The Shepard’s hut is very private and quiet. And parked in a field with 3 alpaca’s that you could feed and some friendly sheep just over a nearby fence. The secluded camping experience is contrasted with use of a luxury spa. And the location is great to explore Dorset and our personal favourite beach town Lyme Regis. Would recommend.
