Formally part of the barn which stored grain now squirrels are often seen running along the thatched roof.
This thatched two storey converted stone barn has a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, beamed living area with comfortable 3 & 2 seater sofas and dining area. There is a bedroom downstairs with a double bed, ample storage and an ensuite toilet. Upstairs there is a spacious bathroom with bath and shower over, a bedroom with large bunk beds and a single bedroom.
A bath and hand towel is provided for each guest but please bring your own beach/pool towels. Beds are made up just before your arrival with fresh linen. There is also a welcome pack to start your stay with locally made Dorset apple cake or biscuits and some Dorset tea, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets (where applicable), soap, tea towel, dishcloth, 1 toilet roll, logs, kindling and fire lighters (where appropriate) will be provided. A travel cot, highchair, blackout blind and baby bath can be booked in advance but please bring your own cot bedding. Free high speed Wi-Fi. Each cottage has a hairdryer.
Squirrel’s Drey is heated by electricity which is metered. To encourage you to ‘Save the Planet’ we share the cost with you 50/50. This should amount to about £25/week in the colder months. 25% goes to the NEA charity (www.nea.org.uk) . There is no charge during the warm peak season from July 1st – Aug 31st.
Is Friday in summer season (July & August) and flexible at other times. Cottages are available from 4pm.
Outside of Peak season you can start your holiday on any day for a minimum of 2 nights.
