Terms and Conditions

A deposit (usually of one third of the rental) is payable on booking and is only refundable if accommodation is not available. Provisional bookings are held for five working days only. The balance of the rental is payable six weeks prior to arrival (you will be invoiced at this time). Nonpayment of the balance in advance shall be deemed to be cancellation of the booking. For bookings made less than six weeks in advance the total amount is payable on booking. Please make all cheques payable to Alan Gater.
Should you have to cancel your holiday, you will be liable for full payment. However, should we be able to relet the cottage, this payment less deposit will be refunded. We recommend you consider taking out cancellation insurance. Please note that by completing the online booking form you are entering into a contractual agreement and are liable for the full cost of the holiday.

The use of accommodation and amenities are entirely at the hirer's risk and no responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage to visitors baggage and personal belongings. No responsibility can be accepted for damage to, or loss of, any vehicle or its contents. |

All damage and breakages are the responsibility of the hirer and the cost of making good shall be payable on demand |

The hirer is responsible for the cottage and is expected to take all reasonable care of it. All equipment and utensils etc must be left clean. The cottages should also be left clean and tidy at the end of the hire period. |

Under no circumstances may more than the maximum number of persons, as stated in the brochure, occupy a property except by prior agreement. The hirer agrees not to cause nuisance or annoyance to occupants of nearby properties. |

With regret, no pets are allowed in, or around the cottage premises. |

Any complaint must be made known to the owners immediately. No complaint will be entertained at the end of hiring period of after the hirer has departed. |

To ensure that there is sufficient time to clean and prepare the cottages, we ask that you should arrive after three in the afternoon, and that you should vacate your cottage before ten in the morning on the day of departure to enable us to prepare it for the next guest. |
